Our mission is to continue Mike’s legacy of giving back to his community. To that end, the Foundation has made a substantial donation and three-year commitment to Bucks County Community College to establish the Michael G. Fitzpatrick Scholars scholarship program. Bucks County residents who need additional financial assistance to attend college are encouraged to apply for the program which includes significant scholarship support. Students will be selected based on financial need and their genuine interest in public service. Preference will be given to families of veterans and first responders. The scholarship program connects students with financial resources, a success coach, and requires attendance at public service-related events at the college. This scholarship program was established to honor the legacy of Michael G. Fitzpatrick: longtime Bucks County Commissioner and Congressman and dedicated and tireless public servant.
